Recognition of study achievements from abroad
Please always clarify the recognition of academic achievements before your stay abroad. Compile the modules that you will attend at the foreign university. Then, after comparing the modules using the module handbooks, contact the lecturers of the respective modules at the GeoZentrum and ask whether the module can be credited to you here.

The GeoZentrum supports students in broadening their knowledge, experience and skills by spending time at universities abroad. Furthermore, we welcome international students who are willing to share their knowledge and perspectives with us, whilst enjoying the study opportunities at our University.
No matter whether you are a student planning a stay abroad or an incoming student, one of the most pressing issues when preparing a stay abroad is adequate financing. To assist you in finding ample funding, this website offers information on a plethora of scholarships.

First contact our internal coordinator Prof. Dr. Daniel Koehn, if you are interested in an ERASMUS+ exchange. Applications should go in on the 20th of January each year. Please indicate place, your grades and subject, motivation, language knowledge. It is important that you are from the subject Earth Sciences or related. Then it will depend on language skills, motivation and grades.
Acceptance of courses needs to be discussed with the specific teaching staff.
