Mark Patzkowsky
I am a professor of geosciences at Penn State (USA) currently on a five-month sabbatical (March – July 2023) supported by the German-US Fulbright Scholar program. My research addresses a wide range of questions concerning the biotic responses to regional and global environmental change across geologic time. I’m currently seeking to link paleoecology with phylogenetics to understand the environmental and biological drivers of the Cambrian and Ordovician radiations of marine life.
